Has anyone ever thought of or tried to use a 3d printer to make grips for the cs series pistols? I've seen what 3d printers are capable of and would think it could be done. I plan on getting a cs45 at some point in 2016 and when I do I will try and get a set made. Ill keep you fellows posted.
Please. I'll take a set of cs9's
I sent an email and asked about the grips. Gearl said NO GRIPS are available. I assume that means now and in the future.
Let's face it guys.I sent an email requesting to buy a set for my CS9 on 11-12. I still have not heard back from him.

this is the last photo I have left of my once owned CS9D.
Yes, I will take the rocks in my face for getting rid of it.
I made my own grips using a set from 3913
a Hogue grip plastic main spring housing
3913 main spring/grip pin
dremel, sandpaper
and beer
IIRC, the hardest part was drilling or burning the holes in the grip to line up with the mainspring/grip pin. I measured many times and re-measured again to make sure it was perfect.
grind off the inner mainspring holder in the grip as the Hogue mainspring housing will do the job now.
Since the 3900 frame is somewhat round at the beavertail where the CS9 frame is square, it will never fit perfectly, but close.
you have to make sure your grip is square with the top of the frame to ensure your side plate is covered by the grip.
Also the mag release notch in the grip will not line up with the mag release in the CS9. I just took my dremel and made it a little bigger and move the notch up.
Scribe the bottom of the grip from the inside up against the frame and cut with a hacksaw blade or dremel cut off wheel.
get several ruffy 3913 grip panels in your stock just in case you mess one up. I bet there are plenty of 3913 grip panels in junk bins at gun shows.

I won't throw any rocks at you.
I'm very glad you decided to get rid of it. And consider my self lucky to buy it before anyone else.
