I just read about the passing of Big Larry, AKA larryofcc on another forum. He was a frequent poster not only on this forum but Rimfire Central, Colt and Winchester Collectors forums and perhaps others as well. He always seemed to have top end quality collectibles as evidenced by his postings.
May he Rest in Peace.

Well, this is some heart breaking news. Larry or Jarhead as I called him was a truly great friend I never met. Larry called me hoseboy as I'm a Firefighter and our first communication was through this very forum. I had posted about a combat magnum box I had bought and he chimed right in and we have been email pals ever since. He invited me to his home and offered me many things but most of all he gave me wisdom and a heck of an education regarding all things firearms. He will be greatly missed by me and I hope he is resting well with his Dad whom he talked about all the time. Rest in Peace Jarhead. Your buddy Hoseboy.

RIP Larry always jumped into his collecting interests 100%. I seem to recall he had a son? I hope there's someone to either inherit his collections or know how to find new homes for everything.

Larry and "feralmerrel' were both from Cedar City, and both great guys that I had spoken to about moving out there, and they both offered to help in any way they could. Good guys.
