Biking the C&O Canal Towpath

Beautiful day so we decided to get the bikes out. I just got brand new tires for my bike and they needed to get some trail dirt on them anyway.

Snubbyfan: Thanks for bring back some great memories of a Scout Summer Camp spent canoeing the Potomac from Cumberland to Lil Aaron Strauss Scout Camp located at Sideling Hill Creek and the Potomac. Nights spent in the C&O Canal Trail Hiker/Bikers. One of the memories is paddling up Town Creek under the Aqueduct. The Scout Camp is now owned by the MD National Guard.

Usta canoe the river, now I prefer just floating down the river on an inner tube drinking beer.
