Bin Laden Killed !

I had to edit the subject line on this thread. It was originally reported as a missile strike, but now is being reported as a special ops mission / firefight. As said above, either way, it is closure to a lot of people.

The virgins are waiting.

They said he was killed a week ago. That was Easter. Soooooo, does that mean since it's a holiday he gets 108 virgins?:D

(Time-and-a-half 'ya know).

The last report I read said that it was a Navy SEAL team that took him out.

Go NAVY!

I was disappointed too in the amount of "I" in Obama's speech. This is the result of long years of effort and much sacrifice to bring this monster to justice, and it is certainly not the work of one man. All credit should be given to every American serviceman and woman who has died in the Middle East.

Now throw him in a deep hole and mount a bottomless porty potty over the hole.

I will be remembering my friends who have been killed fighting theese sobs.

It was just about the end of my tour when I got the news. The first thing I did was drive straight to Ground Zero. I work in the 1st Pct and we cover the site. My partner and I did several laps of the site with the turret lights on and playing military fight songs as performed by the NYPD Pipes and Drums over the PA. People were going nuts for it. I was actually amazed people, especially in that liberal hot bed of a neighborhood, were coming out on a Sunday night to celebrate and pay their respects at Ground Zero. I'm hearing now that the area around Ground Zero is a total mob scene. I guess a lot of people really did never forget.

And God bless the Navy SEALS. As if it weren't the case already, we owe them a debt we can never repay. Thank you.

Bin Laden was buried at sea, under Muslim tradition, washing the body wrapping it. What the ****? Why not put his head in a jar and fill it with pigs blood? If the Military had it's way, i am sure they would have done an even better job with his body. I am tired of the political correct ****. I think the military would have starved some pigs for a week then threw bin laden's body in a trough.

I am glad he met his end. He was a terrorist and a mass murderer as well as a coward. Osama ordered others to do his work as he remained thousands of miles away in safety.

That said, let us all remember that as bad as he was, he had family that will grieve over his death. He was a human and in death, his remains should be treated with respect. Whatever he did or did not do in his earthly life will be answered to by his maker and his fate has been sealed. Too often I have seen people kicking the bodies of deceased persons, spitting on the bodies or whatever. Treating Osama's body in any way other than respect would only anger others in his religion. They may not agree with what he did in life but by religious teaching and tradition would want his body to be respected.

I would have rather he were captured and spend yrs in a small cell and then be executed by court order. It would have given him a long time to think of his actions and his fate.

He was dumped in the ocean..........respectfully.
He did go too fast but he wasn't worth spending millions of American tax dollars to hold him and try him; not even 1 dollar. Besides he was too evil and twisted to think about his actions or repent in any way.

I agree 100%. It is our military's intelligence, vigilance and courage. He made it sound like he was the mastermind behind it. "I made it my point when I came into office that he had to be brought to justice....so I did this...then I did that..."

Go Navy!

.....But as "Zero" would say, let's make this perfectly clear; other than being in a position to take credit for it he had nothing to do with this personally and is no more responsible for this success personally than his predecessor .....

He gave the order and execute the mission and if I were a betting man I would add putting a round in OBL's head. That's a lot more than some other Presidents would have. It was a well executed mission based upon some world class intelligence and investigation. A big thanks should go out to all from the President on down to the grunts who issued the bullets to the team.

If anytime is the time to be more aware, prepared & armed now is the time. ali-ballis are gonna be pissed.
SHTF just may be around the bend now. Is not the time to become complacent .
