I just discovered that the holster style that we call Inside Waist
Band (IWB) was patented by John Berns, of Berns-Martin fame,
in 1935. By coincidence that is my birth year. So now I am on
another quest to find a B-M IWB. By the way, Red Nichols has
reported that Paris Theodore of Seventrees invented the word
IWB. Before he did, they were called other names.

There is such a thing as a Berns-Martin IWB. But not only did Berns not patent it, but the 1935-issued Berns patent you're speaking of is for his Speed holster. Pics of both below:

I think you knew these things already? I know you do have a B-M Speed holster :-).
