Anyone know of an upcoming Black Friday deals on a 1911?
Dunham’s has a Tisas Service for $325.
I’ve only read good reviews on them.
I need it like I need a hole in my head, but we know how that goes.

IMHO the absolute best 1911 out there is, as of 5 minutes ago, still available at PSA...

TISAS Stakeout 1911A in BOTH 9mm & 38 Super (as in two barrels & two magazines), in electroless nickel for $399!

Hurry! It is an absolutely beautiful, tight, accurate forged gun. The finish alone would cost one at least $300 in the aftermarket: the machining on mine is perfect. Not my 1st 1911, but my 1st TISAS and I was very impressed!

Cheers!

P.S. It even has a titanium firing pin!

PSA still has the 1911A1 Tisas in .45ACP at $299.

PSA Tisas 1911A1 Black Friday

They also have the Tisas Raider (M45A1 clone) in 9mm at $439...

Tisas Raider 9mm

I have one of each of these and the quality is fantastic... all forged, no MIM parts, and put together as well as anything 3x the price. Both are excellent shooters.

PSA also has several other deals on Tisas/SDS 1911s in various configurations/calibers.

I have several of the Tisas 1911s, and they are really, really good. And not just for the price. I have Colts, Kimbers and Springfields and the Tisas are just as good as any of them, feature for feature.

Well I bought the Tisas Service at Dunhams. Or I should say I put $100 on one, even though I had the cash to buy it outright, in case they run an Early Bird special on them, like they sometimes do. I wanted to lock one in for at most $329 plus tax.
Seems like a well made gun. No visible flaws. Nice finish. A one thing I really like, though minor to some, is there’s no big, garish billboard, only a small business like “1911A1 Service” on the slide. No Rs, Eagles, Cows or stars.
I like the look.
Black cerakote.
Kind of an Amish 1911A1.

Tisas makes good stuff. Turks have been making guns for a very long time plus the exchange rate is strongly in our favor.

This is a very tempting deal! I've been trying to win an auction for either a nice 10mm or .38 Super 1911 for some time now, without overpaying of course, but this might take me out of the game.

Sounds like youve located the deal you want. I can only second the high praise for the Tisas offerings. I have three Tisas now, a 10mm and two commander length .45s. One is the black cerakote the other satin nickel. I liked the nickel on so well I sold my Colt Combat Commander satin nickel (for 2x what I paid for the Tisas). And the Tisas has better sights.

Like every country, Turkey puts out some junk guns, but the Tisas 1911's are good to go. I own a couple and they work great and seem well made.

You're all a bunch of enablers ! I went and looked at that Tisa with a 9mm/38super barrel and picked one up , I do like 38super . I figure even if I buy a high end 38super barrel , I'm still way in the black considering it was $399 plus tax .

Doubtful you'll find you really need one...;)

Both barrels are chromed, and have proven to be very accurate with 4 different 38 Super loads and 6 different in 9mm!

Cheers!
