Blackhawk Industries was founded and operated by Mike Noelle,
a former U.S. Navy Seal. They have become a major force in
military and law enforcement gear which includes close quarter
concealment (CQC) holsters.
I acquired a couple of their holsters that were made in Tuscany
with premium Italian bridle leather. They are both inspired by
classic holsters.
On the left is the Blackhawk Compact Askins tunnel & loop style.
It is light weight, has a reinforced mouth for easy re-holstering
and a tension adjustment screw. Back when Ruger's LCR first
came out it was a little difficult to find holsters, but this one fits
perfectly.
On the right is the Blackhawk Speed Classic inspired by the old
Berns-Martin Universal Speed holster, but instead of a metal
spring Blackhawk uses a thick elastic band for retention. It fits
most five shot snub nosed revolvers including my Charter 2000
Undercover.
