What was the complication? YOu order too many rounds?
BTW, how did the 15-22's new big brother do yesterday? You going to be buying up all of the 5.56 too?
I'm sorry. Could you rephrase the question? I'm not sure I understand the phrase, "too many rounds."

I see the Blazer ammo is not jacketed or plated, just lead. I'd always been told (when shooting from my target days) to never shoot lead at supersonic speeds, just plated. So while I could have bought this, or other lead bullets for a $1 more at Palmetto, I opted for Federal Champion jacketed for $17.99 for 525 rounds. I personally will always opt for those over the plain lead, for a couple bucks more.
I'm guessing that many/most of you don't mind lead in your 15-22s?
That's why I called it jacketed/plated.There is NO jacketed .22 LR; it simply doesn't exist. All .22 LR is either plain lead or plated.
Well, I've never shot supersonic lead, and I don't think I'm going to start now. I just bought my 15-22, from Palmetto Armory, in fact, in Friday, and then recommended only plated, when I mentioned their sale ammo. They have other ammo in the store now at $14.99/500, but I paid the extra for plated. That's just me, and obviously a lot of people don't mind the lead. I shoot nothing but lead (subsonic) in my target .22 pistols, and used to shoot lead subsonics in my .45, but anything higher than 1090fps is going to be plated, for me.FWIW, I've been shooting plain lead off and on for 40 years with no particular problem. All you have to do is clean the barrel a little more often.
My 2 orders still have not shipped
Hmmmmmmmm
