Cabela's has Blazer Brass 115 gr. 9mm ammo on sale for $8.79 for 50 rounds. I've shot a lot of different brands of ammo, but I don't think I've ever shot any Blazer Brass. What do you think, good or bad?

It will likely function . When I was exploring 9mm FMJ options before I bought a quantity form SGammo I came across this youtube video. Among all the ones he tested Blazer Brass came in last for velocity for him. FWIW, both Fiocchi and Speer Lawman 115 gr. FMJ were priced the same as Blazer Brass at that time from SG so I went with those and so far am pleased with both.

Lots of people like to bellyache about poor quality brass, but I've used most of it in many different brands and cases since 1965 and I've very seldom run across anything inferior. Probably more than 95% of what I've used has been good brass. Perhaps I've just been fortunate.

I've fired hundreds of rounds CCI Blazer Brass with my 5906 and M&P's no problem. Just ordered 300 rounds have another 300 124gr bought on sale couple months ago. Also have Federal and Remington need to shoot up. :D

That's good to know. I too have a 5906 and a M&P9 I need to feed, plus a Shield and a CZ SP01. None of them have been very picky about what I've fed them.

You apparently have never run across AMERC brass then.

The empties are good for reloading. That's reassurance for people who don't reload.

It's been 3 years or so, but I bought 350 rounds of Blazer Brass. It worked well in all my 9mms. I haven't bought any more since then tho. It's the same price or even a bit more expensive than my favorite brand of practice ammo, Fiocchi. BB also seems a bit under powered compared to a lot of other brands. Kinda like Freedom Munitions.

I have fired thousands of rounds of 9mm Blazer Brass with no problems. There's a Youtube video that compared accuracy, and Blazer Brass was like number 2 in best accuracy between 10 brands.

Is Freedom Munitions back in business? I used to buy quite a bit of my ammo from them.

I've shot both 9 m/m and .45 ACP in several guns and it works just fine. I haven't ever checked the FPS and I don't know anything about PF but either one will shoot through both sides of a cardboard box or a tin can. Larry
