Bloomberg takes his page from the Rahm Emmanuel philosophy involving never letting any bad situation go to waste. He is also a multi-billionaire who always seem to be so far out of touch with his constituents as to almost be on another planet.
He has his own reasons for advocating gun control and none of them are good.
The people of NYC tolerate him and his somewhat eccentric behavior or they wouldn't elect him in the first place.
ANYTHING Mr. Bloomberg does or suggests should always be highly suspect.

One thing is the people who still sold firearms to guys who stated they would not pass a background should be delt with. But I am sure they asked that question to every single person with a firearm wanting to sell it and I bet was not supposed to have it anways. Which are very very few at a show I am sure. Another thing is the last i checked the NYPD and NYC can't inforce laws in another state or city. So if these guys are using fake AZ, ID's and or buying with people knowing they are from NY or have an FFL and so on. Why are they not being charged for buying a firearm like a handgun out of state? last i checked unless they got people living full time in AZ helping them out they are breaking the law.

For the last week or so, I've come across that butthead spouting his anti-gun BS on public access TV. Something called access to the mayor. Don't know whether it's publicly funded or not, but all he's been doing is his normal anti-gun rhetoric followed by a host of 'victems' of gun violence giving their tearful rendition of why guns caused them pain. Not that I'm unsympathetic to the victems, I don't like to see them blame the guns for the problem, while letting the criminals skate.

Funny how they didn't actually show a sale. The guy hemmed & hawed when told he needed an AZ ID. So if he didn't buy one what's the problem? Bloomberg and his cronies need to stay out of Arizona. I do think the mayor of Phoenix is one of the few anti-gun polititions in Arizona.
