Was wondering what everyone uses to carry a spare magazine ? I am looking for something with or without a clip , as I will just probably throw it in my pocket . Thanks in advance .

After I posted this I found a site that sells something called Ammo Armor magazine protector , I ordered one and will check them out .

I was just getting ready to post a link to Ammo Armor, they are fantastic for protecting the mags and ammo! I have a number of them for Glock, Springfield, LCP Max, etc...but not for my BG 2.0 yet...

I need to order a couple myself! :)

edit: just got one on order :D

Been using an Ammo Armor sleeve, and like it very much. They don't make sizes for everything. I used to make my own, from thin leather. It's a great idea; if you pocket carry, there's no reason to not carry an extra mag the same way.

Thanks for the reminder about Ammo Armor. The one I'm using, for a BG2.0, was actually something else, though it was working well.
Price is $9, and 3 bucks for shipping. Hard to argue with any of that, and their selection now seems much larger.

I like to have the mag in an OWB horizontal holder. Magholder (company's name) makes a decent, reasonably priced option especially when you use a coupon code....
Pjholster makes a few options for carrying the mag holder on the belt.
I also like the Dale Fricke's Joab horizontal carrier.

For context, I do not like to carry a mag "loose" in a pocket.
I am limited in terms of mag holster options because of my EDC setup....I currently use a magholder to carry a 12-round backup mag.

BTW, in the days when a Kahr .380 was my usual carry, and my homebrew magazines sleeves were all that kept the mags from shedding a cartridge.
The AmmoArmor should do a better job preventing that, not to mention keeping out the pocket lint.
