Bodyguard 2.0 or Shield Plus

You don't have a wife problem. Hey, it's only money. Right?

I bought my wife a 380EZ (9EZ had not been introduced yet). Now it is a struggle to get her to the range to reacquaint her with the gun so she remembers which end of the gun the bullet comes out. I now have a FPC9 and she shot it well. So maybe there is hope.

Two completely different firearms IMO. I carry a Plus and would never replace it with the 2.0 Bodyguard. I am thinking about getting a 2.0 at some point but the Plus isn't going anywhere.

I carry both when I can, prefer the 9mm over the 380 but will absolutely carry the BG2.0 in a pocket holster. Sometimes it's just easier to throw it in my pocket and go. I do love my Shield Plus.

Going through a thought process is OK. It would be an easy result for me.

If I’m maxed out with purchases, I’d sell something that I don’t a have an emotional attachment to or specific need.

I tried to carry a P365XL at 3 o’clock OWB and it was just not comfortable enough.

I bought a P365 Micro and tried that – no comfortable enough.

When the BG2 came out, the size and weight was exactly what I was looking for – a highly concealable, very light weight pocket carry. I researched it and decided to take a chance.

I bought it in August of 2024. The chamber ramp had been polished by the shop armorer, so I have had zero feed issues with 9 different ammos.

The size and weight is very comfortable in my pants pocket.

With all the normal “trade-offs”, carrying a defense pistol is WAY better than not carrying.

You will appreciate the concealability, size and weight of the BG2 over the Shield Plus, however there is a history of well-documented issues and fixes with the BG2.
