Higue G10 Bantam grips
My local shop has the polymer bodyguard 38 with laser. I did not like the grip and see that Hogue has the G10 Bantam grip. Does anyone have one? Is it rubber or hard plastic? Do you like it? Does it fill the hand better? The factory grip is to thin for me.
Thanks.
Edit: Never mind I bought an M&P 9 instead.
The Bodyguard 38 is not my favorite snub nosed revolver, but I recently got the Hogue Bantam G10 smooth grips for it as I never loved the skinny, hard rubber grips that came with it.
Changing grips is easy - tap out the pin at the bottom, slide off the old grip, slide on the new grip, and tap the pin back in.
The G10 Bantam grips are much nicer for me, and they don't make it much different in a pocket. They have hand swells, and the finger groove is well placed. I can squeeze three fingers on the grip, and the rear of the trigger guard is covered.
In retrospect, I (1) wish I had changed grips on the gun long ago and (2) wish I had gotten the rougher version as the smooth G10 grips might get a little slick with sweat.
Much better grips though, and they feel great in the hand.
Just wanted to put this out there since there are few reviews for grips for this red headed step child of a snub nose.
