I confess, I am a Bond Movie fan. Whoever is playing Bond, I want to see the movie. at least on DVD. I have DVDs of all but the latest ones: The Living Daylights, Tomorrow Never Dies, The World is Not Enough, Casino Royale (Craig), ******* of Solace, Skyfall and Specter. Perhaps I will pick them up at Half Price Books someday. Which Bond movies do you have? My favorite remains Goldfinger. Octo***** is my candidate for least likely to ever happen because of human nature not science, Octo*****'s praise of James Bond for allowing her father to set his affairs in order before letting him commit suicide was too much for me - Moonraker seemed more down to Earth.I am partial to Moonraker (perhaps because of my date to the theatre when it was released)?) Which bond movies do you like? Your favorite Bond movie? Your favorite or least favorite scene? Favorite Bond girl? (Aki from YOU Only Live Twice here) Bond weapons? Favorite finish off of a villian (Top Job for me!) I think the favorite Bond actor will easily be Sean Connery in this group. Please don't dump too much on the newer Bond actors they have been roasted elsewhere any number of times. The editing is automatic above, I do not know why the word before "of Solace" is blocked out. Thank you!

For me, Moonraker and Die Another Day were the crappiest movies. Space gunfights and invisible car? GTFO of here. Bad stories and worse scripts. I like On Her Majesty's Secret Service the best I think as a movie not so much for Lazenby. Goldfinger is a classic and Goldeneye had a good modern story for it's time. Connery is Bond in my opinion but Craig is awesome as well.

Yes, the "bad word" filter is a bit hyper here IMHO.

Sorry, but Moonraker is the perfect example of the curate's egg, only good in parts.

The Good: Michael Lonsdale was a magnificent villain. The zero gravity/orbital dynamics effects were great. The crazy boat chase through Venice.

The Bad: Lois Chiles could not act her way out of a wet paper bag. She was also dreadfully dubbed in a few scenes. Some of the stuff with Jaws and his girlfriend was over done at times.

My favorite Bond movies are "From Russia with Love", "Thunderball" and "Skyfall". Props to "Diamonds are Forever", too.

"Die another day" has to be about the worst. Even "Tomorrow Never Dies" was more convincing.

Top scene for me is at the end of "Solace". "M" asks Bond to come back; Bond replies that he never left. Priceless. Two more tie for second: his first kill in Casino Royale and the fight scene on the train in "From Russia..."

Connery for best Bond. Lois Chiles (Dr. Holly Goodhead from Moonraker) for best Bond girl because she's smart, not a ditz like most of them, and gorgeous to boot. Favorite movie was "Diamonds are Forever". All of Ian Flemings books are good; I've read them all. Another favorite book of his is "Chitty Chitty Bang Bang". Took me forever to find it, but my kids wanted me to read it to them after they saw the movie. Gotta love those Ian Fleming heroine names...Truly Scrumptious; Pusshy Galore (gotta say it with Connery's accent).

Ive got about 1/2 all the Bond movies out. Most are Moore and Connerry bonds--I dont recall which titles? the older ones for sure. Ive only a couple of the newer titles from the last 20 years. I love Moonraker for various reasons-and Octo*****. Raker is when you see "Jaws" become a "good guy" before the spacestation destructs killing he and his girl (unseen) As for faves? All the Moore and Connery movies except A View To A Kill.

Bond girls are a hit or miss thing! I see them in the movie, as the eye candy they are. I look across the room at "60 something", and remember when she put them all to shame. Many of the early Bond Girls are not like fine wine, they don't age well! I'll put of "60 Something" up against any of the "matured" Bond Girls!

"60 Something's" sister looked like Carrie Hatcher, when of the same age, both are too high of maintenance! Just ask their ex's!

It always seemed to me that the reason Connery worked as Bond was that despite the veneer of civility, he still had the presence of a man who wasn't afraid of a fist fight. I think the others mostly lacked that quality, but Craig has brought it back.

Let's not forget Connery's pioneering work in the recently promoted male romper designs.

One of few men that could wear a romper and still look like they just might smack the stupid out of you.

I've not been keeping up with Bond films, but my favorite is From Russia With Love. A beautiful Italian woman playing a Russian with her voice dubbed because of her accent. Flat out full throttle action scenes. I saw it in a double feature with Dr. No many years ago. It's my favorite.

I suppose that, Dr. No is my favorite, because it was the first and allowed the others to appear. It also was realistic and lacked the gadgets that ruined the later films. But I didn't like Jack Lord. Not a good Felix Leiter.

And, Dr. No was one of my favorite Bond books, the one where he traded the Beretta .25 for the PPK, under orders from M.

I like, Thunderball and the remake under another director, Never Say Never Again. The latter was better and more like the excellent book. In the book, I loved the girl's fantasy about the sailor on packs of Player's cigarettes.

"From Russia, With Love" was very good.

My favorite Bond girls are probably the Swedes,Maud Adams and Britt Ekland (sp?). I also like Denise Richards. I read Britt's autobiography, True Britt, telling about her roles and her life being married to both Peter Sellers and to Rod Stewart.

I also like Kim Basinger. The looks of the Arabs as she was being auctioned as a slave girl were priceless, as was her own expression.

Also like Shirley Eaton in, Goldfinger. Honor Blackman was too feminist for me.

My favorite Bond was Connery, followed by Timothy Dalton. Dalton was a pretty good Bond, less suited as Julius Caesar in, Cleopatra, opposite Lenore Varella in the title role.

I have a letter from the real Geoffrey Boothroyd on, Dr. No stationery. It's probably a collectible.

It is my belief that Dr No, From Russia With Love and Goldfinger are the best JB movies. I read the books and JB was not about high tech goodies, but intelligence, the willingness to kill and whatever equipment was current.

All of the gadgets turned me off. Of course, Sean Connery IS James Bond.
