So I was looking on Midway for some boresnakes and came across a kit by Hoppe's.It was advertised as suitable for 9mm,.38 and .357.The kit also had a bottle of cleanser and moisturizer. I was expecting at least two snakes...one for 9mm and one for the others but only got one.

My question to you is how can I expect the boresnake to function given the three different calibers? Will it fit one caliber and be either too tight or too loose in another?

I use that on my 9, 357, 308, and 300 blackout.

It's not that great on the 357 - as a patch its OK but I don't feel like the brush part does much as its just too loose so every 4th cleaning or so I'll use a proper rod&brush

Even IF the 38/357 and 9MM were exactly .357 and .355 (which they are very likely NOT) it will work just fine. I have one that does a fine job with .38 ,.357, .38 Super and 9MM. If I had a 9MM Makarov, 9X23 Winchester, .38 S&W, etc, etc, etc. it would work fine with those too......

Thanks guys! I didn't know how big a difference there was between the 9mm and the other two.I shoot .38 and .357 so I wasn't concerned about them.
