Born on date for K22 Masterpiece

I bought this K22 Masterpiece about 6 years ago. I'm curious when it was built. Any help would be appreciated.

I have a K-38 in the K172xxx range that shipped in early 1953, so this one is probably pretty close after.

Just remember that dates with S&W's refer to "when shipped" not when built. Chances are that your gun was built relatively close to that date albeit a little before that. However, there are examples of S&W's that were built and shipped 10 years later. Typically the exception to the rule but adding it FWIW.
