Botach tactical?

Anyone order from these guys? I ordered a Timney trigger a few days ago and haven't heard a word from them. No shipping information and no reply back from them when I asked about my order. Going to try calling tomorrow. I ordered parts from amazon and a few others places at the same time I ordered from Botach and I am already getting parts in.

I have dealt with them for several years......they are not real strong on communication.....they usually have good prices and they have a huge list of products from a lot of different mfgr's.....I have ordered a lot of gear from them, and have never been informed if they have it, or if it is out of stock or back ordered or whatever.....I have found the best way to communicate with them is via e mail on their site, they have a customer service link......I have enquired as to the status of several of my orders in this manner and have recv'd responses usually within 48-72 hours, or it might be a week or so.....I only order stuff from them when I am in no hurry to receive it....you can also check on the status of ur order via this link also.....a lot of time it will indicate "order being processed" and I have had order's in that status for weeks. Well I won't make this mistake again. Waiting weeks is insane. They had the trigger for 185 shipped which was by far the best price but not worth the wait. I would have paid more knowing they were this bad.

I've ordered from them never really had a problem. Their in stock worked before the madness started now it's hit or miss. You could place a order then get a OOS email. They will only keep your order in the system for 60-90 days before they cancel it. I have no problem ordering from them. If I order something then I have the time to wait, I don't wait till I have to have it yesterday. I also search for cheapest price as I'm cheap, including shipping. Like I said some don't like them, then again some don't like Midway, Brownells, Amazon etc. To each their own.

This company is probably like a lot of the online retailers ... an website and ordering software, but no actual on-site stock or inventory. When an order comes in, they in turn order from a distributor/manufacturer and then ship it to the customer when it arrives.

I've had a timney on back order with them for over a month. I ordered a cmc trigger at the same time and even though they said both were back orders, they sent the cmc one right away.

Stay away, look somewhere else....every time I've ordered from them, always on backorder. They won't keep in contact, you have to call them for updates...and when it's all said and done, you'll end up canceling your order because you're tired of waiting (months). My experience - 3 times. I've learned

And almost always overpriced! Their prices on MagPul products are priced anywhere from 5 to 10 percent ABOVE MagPul's MSRP.

That's funny because I think opticsplanet is the best when it comes to supplies/prices of. Real time inventory, safe packaging, and CS that actually has knowledge of what they sell. Quick to respond to e-mails also.

Lots of Botach haters, I've gotten things quickly,slowly and not at all. Does seem that their IT systems are lacking and their web page live inventory is wishful thinking. From reading about other's experiences as well as mine it seems that if it shows up on their ebay/Gubroker site it is probably real inventory otherwise put down your money and take your chances if you choose to...

I ordered from them once not long ago; a couple of magazines and one other item. They shipped the magazines the next day and I got a backorder notice for the other item a few days later. I told them to cancel the other item and they did. IMO their prices were good and shipping time was reasonable.

FYI, they seem to have a better rep if you order through Amazon. That's probably because Amazon forces them to show live inventory.

I've had really bad luck as well as really good luck with them. Zero communication is the norm. Ordering from their eBay store has been flawless tho. If you need it soon go elsewhere.
