Just bought a 64-7 2" on gunbroker. I have not purchased a revolver in quite some time but really had the itch for a new k frame. Paid $550 plus shipping and I don't know if I overpaid or not but the gun is like new and it came with original blue plastic box, papers and the original fired test round. I will post some pics as soon as I have them.

That is one cool little gun. Did you overpay, who cares. Over the years you own and enjoy that gun, whatever you paid will be long forgotten ten years from now.
Pics when it comes in please.

I agree that as long as you get what you want who cares what you pay. I had set myself a budget and went slightly over but I also didn't expect to get all that I got. Listing pics from the auction.IMG_0580.jpgIMG_0581.jpgIMG_0582.jpgIMG_0583.jpgIMG_0584.jpg

MIM and locks don't bother me and I prefer the newer cylinder release. I really love the bantam grips and I like that they have the S&W logo on them.

Congrats on the new 64. I know you're going to like yours as much as I like mine.

Interesting gun. Obviously, I don't "keep up" as I was unaware S&W produced a modern-era 2" bbl 64. I had thought only 4" HB guns were mfgd. I would dearly love a 2" bbl 65 as the late gunsmith Andy Cannon used to produce. Nice pickup, OP!

OP, very nice...I wish S&W would reintroduce the 3" HB 64... and since I'm wishing... make it with forged parts and no IL.
