I have been wanting and looking for one of these in nickel for quite a while. With the help of a few of the forum members here (THANKS a ton), I was turned away from some and on to this one. I think it is very nice. The magna grips number to the gun. It came with the original serial numbered gray box, VCI paper, instruction manual, and warranty card. I added the tool kit after buying it. From the serial number N473XX, it looks like a 1970 vintage. Here are some pictures and geez nickel is difficult to photograph.

And one of the top strap that makes us want Model 27s so much.

A very nice example on a nickel 27-2……looks like you got a good one….are you going to shoot it?

Semper Fi!

When I bought this gun, it did not come with the tools. I bought a set off of ebay to complete the package. One of our members PMed me and asked if I knew if the tools were the correct vintage for a 1970 Model 27-2. They thought that they maybe should have the brass ends on the brush and the mop. You can see the tool kit that I bought in the picture below.

Any idea when the changes were made in the tool kits from brass fittings? Thanks for any help.
