Bought a Pre Model 27 today.

Is it bad of me that I would immediately order a nice leather OWB holster and probably start carrying that gun on a daily basis?

Get a good pair of "supenders" as my old friend who was a Sheriff would say. I have his 27-2 , 3.5" and it is a hunk of iron. He passed on but I have the memories and a part of him.I tried carrying it as a Reserve Deputy but gave it up.
They are nice and you did well. Enjoy it.

BTW that is my 2nd one. First is a pre 27 5 screw obtained many years ago which remains in 98% condition.
