Stopped by the local Rural King looking for something else and went by the gun counter. Ended up walking out with the pistol and two boxes of ammo for <$225. It does kinda fill a cap in my usual CCW lineup. Normally I either carry a KelTec P3AT, Kahr CW40 or M&P 45 midsize, depending on what I'm wearing. So this falls nicely between the 380 and 40. Stopped at the local RR crossing and test fired with no malfunctions. Though these are the HARDEST magazines to load I've ever dealt with. After I run a few boxes of ammo through it this will probably be one of my church guns. As people start acting more and more odd I find myself increasingly leaving the 380 home and carrying something heavier.

You got a good deal.
Nothing, not a thing wrong with SCCY pistols.
The two I had ( CPX-2's ) the mag spring's relaxed after a week.
My UpLULA came in handy.

I had a chance to shoot one of these pistols. It does have a long trigger pull, but once you get familiar with it; it's as accurate as some other pistols. Basically about same size as a Shield, but with 10 round double stack mag. I've resisted buying one for a couple years, but at the price you can get them for, it keeps getting harder to say "NO" :-( I really like the FDE color.

The one I bought is the FDE ( Brown) grip with a blackened slide.

What the heck is this gun?

Need photos.

SCCY CPX2 is the only gun that I regret buying. I wish you good luck. Mine is a paper weight.

I can think of many guns I regret buying, and many I regret selling. What exactly is wrong with your pistol?

Multiple issues have caused me to retire it. It has been returned to Florida 3 times ($56 shipping each trip) for cracked frame, feeding problems, loose pins, broken firing pin and a dead trigger. I fixed the feed issues myself after SCCY failed to. Otherwise, it’s perfect. [emoji846]

I have sent it back 3 times. It cost me $56 each time. I’m done.

I owned a couple of these pistols a few years ago, and while they may have changed their policy since, at the time they paid for shipping for warranty work. SCCY also had fantastic customer service, and was about the best company (at least then) to send out free parts on request. I never had any problems with mine, so I never had to find out about shipping costs.

I wouldn't pay to ship it in...if the rep told me I had to, then I'd be calling the company president (unless they have officially changed their policy.) If they won't pay for shipping for repairs, then I wouldn't buy one.

I apologize for the drift, but how does one pronounce the brand name? I fear it might be "sucky" but I really don't know.

It's pronounced "Sky" like the...uh...well, sky. I think they first named their gun "SKYY" but some other product that had that name first, I think a brand of vodka.

You would think at some point, they would offer to replace the pistol.

Today I stopped at my local gun shop to ask about the Sccy and he gave me a earfull. They had nothing but trouble with the whole aspect of the Sccy. They had guns that fell apart like safety parts and other things. He sent all his back to the factory. He has some in the back room he's been waiting for parts for 9 months. They have there own gunsmith too. He claims they had trouble with almost every one they sold.

Safety issues must have been the 1st gen versions as the 2nd gen do not have a safety. The 1st gen also had an undersized ejection port, which caused problems. I don't doubt some people had problems, we'll see how mine holds up.

I don’t have any.

If a firearm had one problem I might not take a photo, but if it had as many as you claim, I would have an album of photos to show as proof.

I'm not buying the story
