Bowen 38/44 Heavy Duty Conversion Question

Have a Bowen Heavy Duty in .45LC. with Roy Fishpaw French Walnut Grips. Gun has been test fired only with Black Hills Cowboy load as it was designated for that load. Trying to get a realistic value on it. Any help would be appreciated. Saw several for sale on old posts but no recent. Thanks. Pics coming in a bit.

If it were mine I would ask somewhere in the area of $2900-$3400. For one thing Hamilton is no longer working on S&W revolvers and for the second thing, Roy Fishpaw passed away over a year ago. I recently sold a Bowen model 58 conversion to 45 Colt with KB Ropers for right in that neighborhood.

Welcome to the forums from the Wiregrass, Larry! S&W didn't add letter prefixes to the N frame guns until after WWII...starting with "S." So, your gun is post WWII, from 1950. It's a nice looking gun. Congratulations!
