Box Question

I have a M520 that did not come with a box at purchase. Which of the many box variations is correct for that pistol? That would provide me with a relatively inexpensive quest. Thanks, Howard

I pretty sure it's a two piece blue with metal corners.

Oooops, meant to include Bangor Punta.

The correct box is a standard blue Bangor Punta. It has a standard label filled out by hand on one end and the other end has a label with "5200014031 357 NYSP 4in" printed on it. With those unique labels any box you find will only be period correct. Better than nothing of course but some purists object if the box is not original to the gun.

Howard, it would probably be impossible to find one with the correct label as they only made 3 thousand of these guns. But, anything is possible.

I also have one without the box.

Thanks to all for the info. Dick, I agree about the correct box. My patience level is such that I hadn't even considered that possibility. I would guess I'd have better chances at the lotto. Howard
