1st: Hello all!
2nd: Though I grew up mostly shooting long guns I always enjoyed shooting my Father's Smith Model 27. When I purchased my first handgun it was polymer. Most of the handguns that followed were in the same family with the exception of a 1911.
3rd: I'm not sure where to put this question-
Recently I acquired a stainless model 60. I like it very much but would love to know how old it is. The butt plate reads R225XX. Don't know if that's enough info or not. If someone knows what year it was made or can point me in the right direction to find out- thanks in advance!
