Brass catchers

when you find out let me know I keep looking at them. picking up my brass is getting old,,especially when the ground is muddy

I have the Caldwell brass catcher and it works fine if you have it positioned right. The only FTEs I've had with my Sport was when the case bounced off the brass catcher and back into the ejection port. lol

The one bad thing about the bag is that on a windless day the bag catches the still smoking case meaning you get a face full of powder gas after each shot.

Also, if you're shooting standing you can leave the bag unzippered and have the cases fall at your feet or into a strategically placed bucket.

I am currently using one like that. Once you learn where to position it in relation to the ejection port they work very well. I position mine as far to the rear as it will go not quite centered vertically on the ejection port. I have mine a little more towards the bottom of the port. I shoot at an indoor range and save my brass for future reloading. Makes it a lot easier to recover my brass and they're inexpensive. YMMV
