Yes, it's in the 30's in Bangor, sleet and snow mix, and one of my tenants called last night complaining the house ran out of oil. I had to arrange emergency like do it yesterday delivery; the 1st floor tenant apparently is out of town, and it was his responsibility to take note of the fuel tank levels and call for delivery when the tank read 1/3rd. Trials and tribs of an absentee landlord.

Well, let's see. The azaleas and dogwoods are blooming, temp is in the 80s and the ground is so yellow from pollen it looks like a scene out of "Night of the Comet." Yep, time for The Masters.

Thursday found schools closing early due to weather - tornado warnings. Temp was in the 80's in C.A. (Central Alabama). Fortunately for us, just rain. My yellow Jeep really is light khaki - and my wife's is light green - I thought they were county car yellow! Probably be there again within days. Two nights since with lows in the 40's, daytime highs in the 70's. I grew up in Brooklyn and out in Bayside, LI - and I lived in CT while in the USN. I've had snow - it's pretty, but gets old in a hurry. Of course, so does hunkering down in the basement trying to live through a tornado. We were missed by an F4 1/12 by just hundreds of yards. The wooded areas around here still show the path. Come to think about it, snow is not so bad...

Wow! It was a pretty light snow here and only about an inch and a half stuck, perfect evening for cocktails in the hot tub in the snow.
We were planning a trip to Presque Isle today to pick up a new puppy but decided to put it off til tomorrow, they were supposed to be getting several inches going up that way.

Man, that sucks, it's bad enough to run out when it's your own house but I'll bet those renters were throwing a fit! Do you live in the Bangor area? We're out near Machias.
