I orginally posted this on the 10mm-auto site, but I'm hoping to tap into some folks that may know about the Bren-Ten here.
Many years ago, I browsed the Bren-Ten website and saw all of Ron Carrillo's research, but I never got to ordering the book. Recently, I wanted to go back to the site, but I see it has been down for awhile. I see alot of the pages on the "Wayback Machine", and I found a Bren-Ten wiki, but I wanted to ask if anyone here knows if all of that information was backed up.
I did see that @agtman was part of the old site, but I don't know how to go about contacting him.
The reason is that if nobody was trying to save all of his research and posts, I would start grabbing as much info as I can and publish it on a site. I did something similar for a couple of old whisky sites just to reference the old designs. I'm not a web designer, but I just do it for fun. For reference, I created the following site.
Ardbeg Project
I then saved all of the old pages from the Ardbeg, Glenmorangie and Laphroaig original sites and added it to the Ardbeg Project.
Ardbeg site - 2000
Laphroaig site - 1997
Glenmorangie site - 1995
I'm not trying to promote my whisky site, but just showing an example of how I'd like to save the Bren-Ten info.
If someone has already saved the info, then I won't go to that trouble. Any thoughts are welcome.
