I believe that the model 12 was a very good idea, And I would like to see a model 12 BUT in Scandium/titanium platform in 38 special. 2" barrel and round butt, But not with a slimmer frame!
I dont believe that there is such an offering at this time,,, If there is, Forgive my ignorance!
I had my 12 out of the safe last night, and I would rather carry it instead of a Colt Detective special, Just a tad bit larger, But lighter!
I know about the Cobra,,, But I would like the Smith 12 in an even lighter weight package!

I have a 2" 12 and a cobra.

In my hand, they both feel great.

For concealment the cobra is just enough
smaller to be much better than the K frame.

That said,I love my 12 and think you have a
very good idea.Looking at the J frame .357s,
if smith did build it they would probably make
it .357.Ouch!

I agree with you about the Cobra, I have one as well.
But the model 12 in Scandium/titanium in 357 would be on my list if available.
I only carry a smith, I would hate to have to think whether to pull or push the cylinder release.
I leave the Colt at home.
