Dear Smith and Wesson Forum. I wish that S&W would bring back the S&W model victory revolver that they made during world war 2, but without that darn stupid ugly lock! sincerely and repectfully mg357 p.s. the reason i wish for this is because some day the supply model victorys that were used by the military may run out and it would nice if newer generations of gun collectors could have a model victory for there collection.

Why, there many many of them out there for sale at very reasonable prices?
New ones would probably cost $600-700 to make and you can buy excellent used REAL ones for in the $300-400 range. Makes no sense.

Because with a new one you could shoot +P ammo out of it and actually use it. Instead of putting more wear 'n tear on an original, that one day might be collectible.
So yeah, count me in on a new Victory model! Dale
