Bring Out The Mouse Guns

S&W made mouse guns about a century ago. They called them Ladysmiths and they were built on the M frame, WAYYY smaller than the J frame or even the I frame.

To get the size, here's one next to a .455 triple lock, now chambered for .45 Long Colt:

I use my 950 BS as a point and shoot gun. It is very accurate out to 10 feet. Never tried shooting from any farther. I've had mine for 2 years now and put about 500 rnds of almost every brand thru it with 0 problems.

Heres a proper mouse gun for this forum...
Im not sure why it looks hazed, it not, from the flash perhaps?

Ive got a Keltec P3AT but no photo, I think you guys know what they look like ;)

Hi DCWilson;

Glad to see the original Ladysmiths represented and the comparison photo with the Triple Lock.

Here's the Colt version of that comparison. A New Service Model 1909 .45 Colt and a Colt New Pocket .32 Long Colt and examples of the cartridges along with a .22 Long Rifle round. These two Colts are about 5 years apart in age.

Another Jetfire .25. I let this one go as I didn't care for the safety lever. I'd like to get another but it'll be an earlier Italian import without the safety.

I could have posted that photo! I have the same models!

But I'm glad you did because sometimes I have the blinders on and don't remember guns by certain manufacturers when I'm in the forum for another maker. I also have a Colt VP .25 from 1912 that would pretty much meet mouse gun standards.
