Just heard about a newer 29 with a 10 5/8" barrell for sale. Don't know the condition, will the 10 5/8" make a difference on value. I've not seen one with this long of barrell before. Some 8 inchers around, is there much demand for 10 5/8 barrells? Can someone give me a ball park price? Lets say 90% on condition to be safe. The longer barrell scares me.

It is the 29-3 Silhouette, with the adjustable front and rear sights. Nicer ones tend to go for the $600-700 range. The longer barrels seem to go for less than the 4 and 6.5" ones.
Thanks for the needed information, I just don't have much info yet. The barrell length seems to be a draw back to me. I'm looking to roll it over, I have no interest in that length barrell for me. Just have never seen much interest in that barrell length.

They were made for the metallic silhouette market.
Unless you plan to target shoot long distances with it, or perhaps use it for hunting, I would pass on it, and buy a 6" or 6 1/2" Model 29.
It will be somewhat hard to resell.
