I hit 4 gun stores today, and my eyes had started to gloss over from the endless cases of black plastic. At my final stop, I saw this. It was literally sitting in a case by itself. I brought her home, cleaned her up, ditched the Pachmayrs, and found a set of grips and a Tyler in my drawer. A 1969 vintage 19-3. She's not perfect, but I'm really happy to have her. Here's a shot with my 2.5 inch 19-5 I bought new. In this day and age, I was happy paying 7 bills for this gun.

Hey Mustang, mark this date on your calendar. Then next Feb. 12th
see what one would cost you. Nice buy, no hesitation, just check it out and buy it. Now, open the back window and shoot it.

My Bill Jordan tribute, now that I finally have a 4" 19. This is my signed book. I met him at the '76 NRA convention, along with Joe Foss and Skeeter Skelton. Heroes of mine when I was young; remembered by fewer each and every day.
