Had they made with locked breech operation, I might have been interested. Being simple blowback it probably has much the same recoil as a 9mm locked breech gun of similar weight, so what's the point? A few rounds through a Beretta 84 were enough to convince me that blowback 380s exist just because they are cheaper to make, and because certain countries forbid civilians (including LE, quite often) from possessing 9 mm.

I had a Black Label.22 LR version for awhile. Liked it quite a bit. Got itchy for another gun and traded it though.
 
It's been a few years since I've had one in hand, but I don't think the Browning 1911-380 is a blowback. It disassembled just like a 1911, down to the pivoting barrel link. I thought it was fun to shoot.
