I recently traded my snub Model 19 for a really nice MkIII Hi Power. I want to CCW this gun on occasion, but have absolutely NO left handed holsters for it. What's the best way to carry this slim, yet full sized, 9mm? I am a lefty, so it's hard to find anyone who has one in stock, and I really don't want to break the bank on leather, but would like to have something of quality. Does anybody have a Lobo holster for these guns? Any and all suggestions would be appreciated.

OWB, a Hume JIT will work fine, and Hume will have other Left side holsters too. For IWB, I use Sparks Summer Special, and it is available lefty too.

I use a Bianchi pistol pocket for mine. Its an inside the waistband holster that also does double duty for a five inch 1911 as well.

Have you checked out the "Yaqui slide" ?
should be available in a "lefty" version from Galco and others.

I carry mine in a Desantis... nice holsters. I'm also a lefty. Here's a good carry- worked in Iraq for me.

I'm right handed and regularly carry a pre-MkIII BHP in a Don Hume 715M IWB. I'm pretty sure they make the 715M in left hand.

I have a left handed Milt Sparks Versa Max II that is brand new. I bought it anticipating acquiring a customized Hi Power, but it seems I'm destined to confine my stable to 1911s and Smith revolvers.

If you're familiar with the VM II you know that they bring more than retail on eBay every day. I would rather see it go to someone on one of my regular forums. Milt Sparks Holsters

The only way to pay retail for them is to order direct from Sparks, which typically takes six months.

If you're interested in it, I'll sell it for what I paid for it plus shipping, just drop me a PM.

I'm right handed so never carried one left handed. That said, many holsters made for 1911s also work for BHPs. I used a Galco concealable, right sight, OWB, that I carried just behind my right hip. Worked fine with a cover garment. These are relatively inexpensive and should be easy enough to come by, even LH ones.

Good to see you on here again, Gator. Haven't seen any of your posts in a while. I'll check the Galco site as well as DeSantis and few others. I'm scared to dump a lot in a really nice rig, because I'm more of a trader than anything, so that's one reason I'm kind of looking on a budget.

I've got a Milt Sparks summer special thats probably 30 years old, carry my BHP IWB...works very well.

If you don't want to spend much money probably an IWB for a full sized 1911 would work as well.

Thanks. Look also on Ebay. There is a guy there called UsaMike or something like that. He had a lot of old stock but nice holsters from companies like "Safety Speed" a few months ago and usually has all sorts of good stuff. There are usually deals to be had on left handed holsters owing to less demand. I bought a bunch of the old Safety Speed stuff and it was all first class gear including the 1911 rigs that I bought.
