Bubble wrap OK or not

Sounds like a plan. I would put vapor paper between the gun and bubble wrap but the gun sock should be fine.

When I transport my handguns, I use silicon impregnated "BORE STORES" by big springs enterprises.... each revolver in a bore stores, layered between layers of bubble wrap, in plastic totes...available at lowes, or your favorite hardware store.... 36 + revolvers from SC to Baton Rouge and back...also from Gilbert, SC to Greenville , SC. and back..no rust, no nicks no dings.....

You can melt a 55 gallon drum of bee's wax and put the guns in. The wax will harden and the guns will be suspended within, preventing damage and corrosion.

Now there's an idea I never thought of
