Went up to the Country for Easter weekend and
I pulled this out of the safe.
I normally keep good records of my purchases from the
net or shows.

This one slipped through. No recollection of the purchase.
Buck 110 with white scales and black oxide blade.
Can't find much on the net other than "sold out".

Anyone have one ?

The black blade makes me wonder if it is one of the Buck 110 knives that had the S30V steel blade. I have a couple of them. Great steel. Much better than the 420HC steel that Buck normally uses for its knives in my opinion.

I don't have one but, yes it should have the S30V steel blade. When they came out it had spotty reviews about quality. Mainly the issues of the White G-10 handles having dark stains. Looks like you got a nice one there Xfuzz.

It's white G10 scales with a black oxide coated blade of 420HC steel. Very nice!

Although, some did have the S30V blades. Hey fuzz, check the blade stamping and see which steel you have on this one? A lot of long debate has went on which steel is better regarding knives.

This debate rates right up there with "what's the best gun lube" or "what's the best handgun caliber".

Buck has had successes using both types of steel.

That's one classy-looking Buck. I have a 110, but it's just the old-fashioned wood & steel & brass. The leather belt sheath is still intact but I don't carry it anymore. Just the ones that I don't care if I should lose, but not junk.
I've never seen that knife before. I need to look in their catalog. Always liked the Buck knives. They seem to hold an edge for me, once I finally get a good edge. I suppose I'll look later on; may see something that calls out to me. That one there would call out to me! Very nice. Thanks for the picture.
I did try to buy one, come to think about it, but they said the last one, made Dec. 2018, was sold to some "gun guy!" ;)

Many thanks everyone....

Close up of the blade.
No indication as to S30V or 420HC
on the box or knife. Found a thumb stud
in the bottom of the box.
Box is date 12/20/18

I've checked the Buck Special Projects list and catalog for 2018 and don't see the OP's knife listed however a google search did show an identical example attributed to Shepherd Hills Cutlery as the seller which would jibe with the code on the label on the end of the box.

Nice knife for sure. The only 110 I have left I got at an NRA show years ago, numbered and such. Met part of the Buck family, super nice people.

I prefer the 112 Ranger series myself...
