I have a pre 64 Win m70 in 300 h&h with a two piece buehler mount and vertical split rings.Years ago I took the scope off the rifle.I left the bases on the rifle and stored the rings.I now want to mount a scope on it but have lost the instructions for the mounts and rings.I also lost the screw for the front mount that holds the ring on it.Does anyone know where I can get a copy of the instructions and find out what size that screw is.Any help will be greatly appreciated.

Up to about 5 or 6 years ago they were still making some scope rings. Don't know if they still are in that business at all. Their main business now is unrelated to the gun trade I understand.
Might still have instructions and small parts around if the company is still around!
I don't have any mounts left around to check the screw size for you.
Last contact info I have for them:

Maynard P. Buehler Inc.
17 Orinda Way
Orinda, Cal. 94563
(area code 925) 254-3201

Thanks 2152hq for the contact info. Will call them tommorrow and see if they can help. Thanks S&W Chad for the copy of the instructions. That and the screw I need should get me back in business.

ALWAYS check with Brownells ...they have seldom failed me. I just gave away an old set of Buehler rings...similar situation to yours. But this guy had the bases...no rings. Wanted to remount a K-4 Weaver on his dads old M-70.

Bueller?..............Bueller?.................Bueller?

Sorry, couldn't resist.
