Ok, so this is a strange posting but here it is anyway.

I bought a whole bunch of 9mm ammo Remington 1000 rounds (loose) bulk box. However, for me anyway, its much easier to carry to the range in the 50 count boxes (plastic cases) so I can keep better track of how much ammo is being shot. I have been searching the Internet but can't find anyone selling empty containers/cases.

Just thought if anyone else goes to a range in the Fairfax, manassas, VA area, I'd love to drive by and pick up your empty 50 count boxes, preferably Remington but I'll take anything for 9mm ammo.

I know silly posting but hey I like to keep my stuff organized. Last time I'll buy bulk ammo for sure.

Nothing strange to be orderly and efficient. I kept all of my empty boxes for quite awhile but recently cleaned everthing up and out. You can buy some plastic containers online (best price) or Cabelas/BassPro/etc for more. They come in sizes for all ammo types. Semper Fi

For $17, plus a little shipping, you'll have enough to store all your rounds. Plus you can write on the box what they are so you don't forget.

50 rounds in ziplock bags

Yes, Ziplock medium size freezer bags are sturdy enough to easily carry 100 rounds. I use them all the time. Your ammo will also be easier to pack in your range bag.

Wait the question is, does this place have any 1000 round boxes left in stock? If so, what is the name?

I use a tupper ware container, which I think is ziplock. It's round, screw on lid. It holds 125 easily and 150 with some compression. It only takes me a minute to count out 125 rounds. My typical bulk purchases are in 250 count lose boxes, so once I count out 125, I know there is 125 left in the lose box. It's a nice system that works for me.

I have picked up 1000 round bulk Remington 115g 9mm boxes at Dick's in Tulsa last Friday and about 30 minutes ago. Find out the day they get their truck, be among the first in line(I was 11th today and got the last one), and you can probably pick one up. 249.99 plus tax.

I have some plastic containers from a LGS but I also made use of a plastic storage container that is usually used for miscellaneous tool bits or hardware. You can find these at any hardware store or even Walmart. They are adjustable and the one I have can hold up to 550 RDS. Actually pretty convienent.

You can find the plastic boxes in the fishing supplies section at Walmart.
