I currently load 230 RN Berrys plated in my 45's. I run a Glock21sf, a Springfield loaded target 1911, and a S&W 625 revolver. Is the Berrys plated 200 FP also a good bullet to shoot in 45's? thanks trikerider

All of Berry's I 've used have been great. I'm running their 185 gr 45 acp in my Glock 36 and they preform great.

I load the Berry's 200gr SWC's and they are just fine, also keep the same charge weight as when I load the Berry's 230gr RN,

I've shot several thousand of their 185 hollow based ball bullets. Function and feed very well, although they seem to tumble at hot velocities.

I use the same 200 grain SWC Berry's plated bullet for all my .45 acp revolvers, semi-autos, and .45 Colt revolvers.

Both 230gr plated, on the left, Berry's and the right is a Ranier.

All of those bullets have been in my M625JM at one point or another. Most of the lead ones with the exception of those over 240gr have been run through my PT1911 and the plated ones are a standard diet for my Glock 21 SF with the standard barrel in it. I do have a Lone Wolf 6" barrel for it too, and in that configuration, it has taken most of the 230gr and below quite well.

As a last resort, I use a bullet with a coating on it, the rest of them I shoot, are just plain cast. I make them myself and really enjoy doing that too! ;)

I use the Montana Bullet cast (H&G68) Lyman bullet in 205gr. Incredible accuracy over 4.0gr. Bullseye. Great over VV310 as well but I have 10lbs. of Bullseye left.
I use 4.3 or 4.4gr. Bullseye with a 185gr.Nosler JHP for 50yd. target.
