Hi,
A while back I bought this Crimsom Trace S&W 1911 from a member of the forum (minus the crimson trace grips) for the purpose of making myself a bullseye gun to replace my Les Baer. Well...I finally did the work on the gun to accurize it..(elimination of "slop" mostly)...besides a couple springs, a Briley Bushing is the only added part (besides the red dot...of course!). I haven't done extensive testing yet, or any load development. As you can see, the dot isn't even zeroed yet. I have only test fired it, pre-sighted it in, and shot one 30 round local match with it so far. I cleaned and lubed it tonight, and stepped outside in the snow and fading daylight to shoot a 10 round "keeper" target. Here it is..... thought you might be interested in seeing what this S&W 1911 managed to do....I'm pretty enthused!
