I am looking to purchace a "low profile" handgun scope to mount on a Model 41 w/ 7 1/2 bbl. to be used for bullseye type target shooting at a distance of
around 50 ft or less. My price range is about $200 and any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.

look into the ultradot matchdot, pretty much the bullseye standard. Has the adjustable dot sizes 2,4,6,8 MOA. Thats what I use for BE, I shoot outdoor matches 25 and 50yds. Some shooters like the smaller ultradots. Shoot one before you buy though. Lookup "Bullseye supplies"

Most use a red dot made by UltraDot . Basic model has a 1" tube & 4moa dot . They also make the following : 1" tube with adjustible dot size , 30mm tube with either 4moa or adjustible dot size . If your barrel is already drilled & tapped Weaver makes a mount that'll screw right on . That & correct size Weaver rings & you're good to go . I've got one on mine with a 1" 4moa UD .

I apologize for not being more specific. I already have an ultra dot match dot and I agree with you on it's performance. What I am looking for is a reticle
type scope. Sorry.

Thank you. Very impressive and worth looking into.
