929 going back to the mother ship. After shooting yesterday whilst cleaning noted the following-barrel not tightened correctly causing sight to lean to the right,appears to have pitting on top of barrel,while cocking hammer slowly for a single action shot the cylinder does not lock-lacks about 1/16" from lock. Amazing the things you find under a florescent light while cleaning. Calling Smith in the morning.

Definitely a bummer. The good news is, S&W does have a pretty qiuck turnaround on warranty work.

Got her back today and ran nearly 300rds through her-all is well. Little over 2 weeks door to door. I hope to sleep better now.
