Savage,

I just looked at my post. I apologize if I came off as a d-bag. I have no experience with a slide fire / bump fire stock, but found a few threads on the subject. I wish I had 1st hand experience to share with you.

When I decided to get an AR I started researching (I'm a bit anal about REALLY checking things out before dropping any coin) and obviously, since I looked into EVERYTHING AR real well, I ran across the SlideFire.

MAN! Now that looked cool! Like something I wanted!

Then I came back to earth and thought to myself, "I really want to shoot dat ting...as long as someone else owns it!"

It looks like it would be a lot of fun for the first 5-10 mags...then just a giant waste of ammo...which I can't afford. My right index finger will twitch fast enough for my needs.

I have the SlideFire stock and it works perfectly on my DPMS AR10, S&W 15T, and S&W 15-22. The AR10 has much more recoil, so a lighter weight trigger is not needed. I have lighter pull weight triggers on the AR15 and 15-22, and the SlideFire also works great on both of those. The AR15 may not need the lighter trigger, but I prefer light pull weight triggers. The 15-22 does need a light pull trigger, due to the low recoil. When swapping the stock from gun to gun, the only issue is you have to remove the stock hand grip and use the SlideFire supplied block, to hold the safety and pin springs in place.

I recently acquired a few stocks for AR,AK,10-22, learning curve is minimal, accuracy with 3-4 shots ( bursts ) is excellent. Yes we did do a few ammo dumps to break it in, but it is useful in that accurate AIMED bursts are easy. Be Safe,

I have a SlideFire... mainly for my 15-22... But of Course HAD ta try it on my Sport

Man... Loved it..... Easy to use, no Upgrades needed... Full Mag dumps 1st try.. every try.. and Man will ya go though some ammo...

Insane amount of Fire power....

No... its not cost effective... but thats not why ya get a Slidefire Stock... ya get one for the fun of it.. and becouse you CAN!!

Anyways... My Take on em
