I am considering this site but I do not want to remove the front site.

Can I mount and not worry? I just bought a sport (my first AR). Will the front site block the Burris?

Thanks guys

No, at the least at the bottom of your sight picture will have a fuzzy outline of the site tower. You can use a half inch riser if it bugs you. It bugged me and eventually changed to a low profile gas block. Love my AR-332 and it's open views. ;)

Thank you!! it is great to know... I also was thinking of a possibility for a swing out on this scope..... with this:

Scopes - rifle scopes, handgun scopes, hunting scopes by Burris Optics

If that is a bad idea, thought about this next (AR QD Mount)Burris AR-332 Prism Sight:

Or put a DOT off center (For close up shots):

Burris AR-Tripler

I am quite impressed by the wisdom on this site... I am doubtful there is another Forum that even comes close...

I have been reading and learning.. Thank you for all the information and I look forward to some feed back!!

OK ... I went for the Burris AR-536 ... Slapped it on ... Hit the range... Sweet Site...

It seems like I need a little work on grouping, but it will get there!

I have the AR-332 on my MMR with fixed front sight. The front sight sits lower and off focus from the reticle, so no issues running both.

For me the 332 works perfectly. It was zeroed within 1 moa out of the box at 100 yards. And the reticle can be used out to 500 yard.

I got for $269 on black Friday.

Sweet deal... Yeasterday I went to my Cabelas and they had the 332 for $249 and the 536 for $299.00 I was plannimg on the $299 for the 332 but when I saw this sale $299 for the 536, I grabbed it!!
