Recommendations for best AR-15 Muzzle Brake?

I don't own any suppressors, so no brake that will accept 1. If forgoing the hiding of flash and only wanting reduced recoil and barrel movement I'd recommend only 2, ultradyne and lantac dragon (depending on which 1 it does accept a suppressor). I've used both on barrels from 11.5 to 24" w/5.56 nato and hornady 75bthp's superformance ammo.
I own both. Bought the ultradyne apollo first. It just about totally eliminated jump/ recoil but the blow back suffocated me as well as fogged the scope. Replaced it with the Lantac dragon which has no blow back and provides adequate muzzle stability. I really wanted to like the Ultradyne but....

If the HPA does pass I highly doubt it will drop cost, at least not in the short term. Demand will skyrocket and price gouging will be the norm.

In time, like 2-3 years, give or take, supply and demand will equal out. New manufactures will come on line AND demand will slow because only so many people will be willing to spend 500-1000 for an accessary.
I am not in a big rush. The electronic Walker ear protection does a good job of negating the noise, but nothing for the concussion wave. Both ARs (M&P15 Sport II 16 in & PSA 10.5 in pistol) had A2 birdcage that suppressed flash fairly well. Garrand Thumb has a YouTube video comparing a sizable number of flash hider versions. Very "illuminating". I installed linear compensators on my ARs (3.25 in Kaw Valley Precision Magnum LCs) and FPC 9 (TacFire 2
25 in LC). I was trying to emelorate the concussion, and for the 10.5 PSA in particular. I didn’t want to go home feeling like I just done 10 rounds with Mike Tyson. I have taken them all to an indoor range that I frequent and they seem to do the job. Muzzle flash was still apparent, but lessened. As to recoil and muzzle rise mitigation claims, I await quantitative data before I will accept anecdotal reports.
