Buying a .40S&W..sights

Hi,
I am going to buy a Sigma 40 and have been looking for sights. I looked at Meprolite and the ones I found are few and only for a 40. I also have a 9mm Sigma and did not find any sights for it. I'd love to have either Heinie sights or XS but so far it does not look like they make any for a Sigma. Are there not any other brands of sights? How does the front sight come off? I looked and there is nothing to grab,or twist or anything. All I see is a flat spot of plastic...nothing like a Glock.

The Sigma front sight is "riveted" in by melting the plastic. You essentially destroy it getting it out.

There is little available for the Sigma aside from the night sights.

There are numerous choices for the M&P.

40 cal and sights

Lots of people seem to own the 40 as opposed to the 9mm. My 9mm is pretty accurate at least at 10 yds. I can put a magazine inside the head of a B-34 target. That's about the size of a large orange maybe. I hear raves about the 40, but I have also read about the sights shooting loose. I love my Sigma!
