Buying S&W merchandise outside the US

Are there any other companies that sell genuine Smith & Wesson clothing and merchandise, that ship ouside the US?

The S&W website will not allow outside US purchases. I have contacted S&W direct without success while the Australian distributer doesn't stock or sell clothing or merchandise.

Have someone you know stateside purchase and ship to you.

Ask your dealer if he will special order it for you so it can be shipped to him.

Seems funny they wont ship outside US when almost all the clothes and accessories like knives etc are made in China or some other country not the USA.

The local distributor will not buy the goods. I was hopeful someone may have known a company in the US simular to Midways or Brownells that would ship to Australia.

I have a mail forwarder that can do the posting, it adds to the cost paying the postage twice. This may be the way I have to go.

Still at a brick wall.

Smith & Wesson have not replied to any emails.

The local distributor will not get them in.
They won't even send me a catalog, promised many times never sent.

I cannot go to the mail forwarder as S&W will not accept a billing address outside the US.
If I put a US address the credit card errors.

Anyone know of a resell, or stockist in the US that will post to Australia?

I believe the problem is the copyrighted merchandise and import/export licensing. Have you tried buying used merchandise from eBay?

Smith & Wesson recently changed their policy as we, in Australia, use to be able to purchase merchandise from them direct.
I could understand it if the Australia distributor sold merchandise but they don't. They plan to, but not in the near future is the word.
I do purchase what I can from ebay. Thanks.
