Does anyone make a high quality cast iron "C" frame press? I have been using a Lee Reloader for some tasks, it is the right size and a fine value for the money, but is cast aluminum and I am concerned that some tasks such as swaging primer pockets are a bit too much for it.
Looking on flea bay I see such old standbys as the Lyman Spartan and Pacific but little else and I really don't know where else to look. I had a "C" frame press probably 50 years ago but it's long traded off and I don't remember much about it.

My requirements are "C" type open from front and sides, uses standard 7/8X14 dies and standard shell holders. Open height does not have to be large.

Look for an old Pacific. They show up at swap meets and gun shows.

If you want to keep it cheap, get a used Lee Turret press.......you can move the opening to either side as befits your preference, and it's strong enough to handle case reforming or whatever. Even a new one doesn't cost much.
