Are C Products 30 Round magazines any good?
A friend tells me their quality is questionable.
Hoping someone here has experience with them.
I am dealing on a AR15/10 extra 30 rd mags/300 rounds ammo.

I and 3 co-workers have used the C products mags in our 6.8's for about 3 years. Zero issues for them.

I also have some, no issues. I did replace a lot of my magazine followers with magpul followers, just because I got a good deal on some.

I have CProducts mags in 5.56, 6.5 Grendel, and 7.62x39. The 5.56 mags are both aluminum and stainless steel, in 20 and 30 round capacities. My observation has been that the aluminum magazines have been fine, but the steel ones are the ones you are going to find out of spec. That isn't to say all of them are. All the ones I have now are great, and work as well as any magazine out there, but I had to send a few back for exchange back when I bought them a few years ago. I like their stainless steel mags, especially the older ones with the Marlube finish. If the mags with the rifle you are looking at have all been proved out, you will be OK. The quality of the mags depend somewhat on when they were made. Whenever CProducts came out with something new, there was usually a period of time before they got things sorted out.

Cproducts are what I use in my 6.8.

Apparently they had some problems years ago with the 5.56. There were delivery issues when they were sold and became ASC. I really haven't heard of any problems with anything made after about '08.

C Products had problems with some of their earlier Green followers.
Once they changed over to Mag Pull Grey or Orange anti tilt followers there were no more issues.

Their stainless, anti tilt, military/LE mags are superb. They don't advertise them so they're only available through mil/LE distributors like Blue Star Police Supply in Denver.

I got ten of them with an AR I bought. They have the orange follower, so I guess I am good to go.
My brother gave me 5 military 30 round mags, so with a handful of PMags, I have plenty to shoot with. Will just leave the C-Products mags sealed in their packages, and put them away for a rainy day.
