I dont really know the reasons for the " No sales to CA" that many put in their auction listings.I believe it just relates to some issue with FFL dealers not C&R's. I know that handguns cannot ship to California C&R's but is their any reason why I as as C&R cannot sell a long gun to a California C&R.? Thanks Bob

As long as the long gun you want to ship into CA is a C&R and the buyer sends you a signed, valid copy of his C&R license, there is no reason not to. The only caveats would be for example if you were selling an M1 carbine, you could not ship it with an over 10 round magazine. A few other C&R's might run afoul of the so called "assault rifle" regulations, like an FN49 or Swedish AG42b with muzzle brake. You can check the CA DOJ site here:

Some dealers are ignorant or just want to punish gun owners in CA because we are outnumbered by the anti's who vote in the kooks who run the state.
